Tim is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Approved Supervisor with over 15 years of clinical experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families.  His professional background includes community mental health, residential, substance abuse treatment, outpatient and emergency services.

Tim completed his Bachelor’s of Arts in Philosophy and Psychology at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2002 and his Master’s of Science in Counseling Psychology at Alaska Pacific University (APU) in 2007.  He interned as Director of the Counseling Center at APU and at Providence Health and Services.  

Tim holds certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relationship Counseling (The Gottman Method), and is a Trauma-Informed Care provider with training in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) from the International Trauma Institute.  He has been in private practice since 2016.
